Translated from a yiddish in 1964, but yet not published, the story the classics of Jewish literature at last is published in Russian. It tells about family of the Jewish emigrants who have moved from Russia to America in searches of the best life. Parents and the senior children who is easy and who - having passed through sincere torments, have managed to adapt to new way. However the younger child, Yosele, has appeared not to change in forces to religious traditions and to get used to new conditions of a life...
