Book of Abraham, called the Book of Creation

One of the most influential works of mystical Gnostic persuasion in the history of world thought. It was set up, probably between III and VI centuries. Mr. er. This work is intended to identify essential elements and cosmogenesis anthropogenesis, comprehension of the underlying foundations of the universe, it succinctly describes the fundamental principles of the universe and man. Before the reader's mind's eye is created universe, which overcome the boundary between a priori first principles, spiritual and material.

The publication presents annotated translation from Hebrew of the Book of Abraham, called "The Book of Creation", performed by Professor I. R. Tantlevskim of the oldest surviving manuscript of the short version of the product (Parma, Palatina Library, 1286), standing closest to the archetype.

This manuscript is translated into Russian for the first time. Also reproduced the original Hebrew text. In comments recorded readings of the major options presented in a lengthy version of the book and in the so-called version of Saadia Gaon. Translation preceded the introduction.
