This book explains all the features and instructions in order to conduct "Alef-Bet," and this book is divided into two parts, one being our old "Alef-Bet" and the new "Alef-Bet." The first part - it's a wonderful collection, which made our pure and holy Rebbe as a child, all of which reached his great wisdom to understand one thing from another. Of all the holy books he gathered together all that I found relevant to morality, behavior and proper qualities (character) by writing them as a souvenir. All explanations, which he found in the words of our sages, the merits of a particular good quality, or conversely, the shortcomings of bad quality - all of which he was collecting, writing in the order of "Alef-Bet" from (name) of each quality. So it was a reminder to him to see the sight of the dignity of every quality, and its inverse, "... in order to follow the path of good (people), and to protect the righteous paths" (Proverbs 2:20). In addition to that befell his excellent wisdom is expensive and many wonderful things that are not clearly explained in the words of our sages. But the power of his comprehension, he knew one from the other and came to a stunning new discoveries concerning the qualities (character) that comes from the verses (Tanakh) and the words of our sages, of blessed memory of them that are not expressed in their words clearly, but only a hint, clear this sage like him. All that he has collected in order "Alef-Bet", and during the days he had a job all the qualities. Then he ordered to rewrite the whole thing. And "out of his mouth, he read to me" and I wrote it in a book, that book is not gone out of our mouths, and we studied it constantly to avoid bad qualities. After all, if any man will see with your own eyes how bad the bad quality, what a loss it causes, and that terrible flaw that occurs because of it, have mercy on his soul and podpoyashetsya to war with him. The second part is similar to the first, with the same look and appearance, and there is no in between (visible) difference, as it also explains the advantages of good qualities and bad qualities disadvantage. But the difference between them is the following. The fact that the mention of each of the attributes in the first part - these are things that are listed in the books explicitly or at least a hint. And intelligent man who wants to delve deeper and understand one from the other, will be able to understand and comprehend how the Rebbe learned the words from which the verse or saying of our sages. Because everything that is explained in the old book, "Aleph-Bet", said "... it is not available to you, and it is not far" (Deuteronomy 30:11), that is for the reader, who can get to the point of saying to understand and comprehend where it comes from. Although it must be said that if it were not for the Rebbe, who shone in our eyes, these things would not have come to the heart of the reader take these things out of the holy books. However, after he had already opened our eyes to these words, can an intelligent man whose heart is filled with holy books - the Tanakh, books agadot of our sages (hazal) and other comments, understand and reach the source of these words.
