Culture-League, one of the most popular Jewish outreach organizations, was established in early 1918 in Kiev. The aim of its activities was to develop the culture of the Yiddish language. The fall of 1918 had already acted education, publishing, library, musical, theatrical, literary and artistic section. In Kiev, opened the People's University, a gymnasium, a teacher's seminary, founded the publishing house "Culture League". In the Art Section is working art studio Crop-League and the museum.
