A well-known philologist, Leonid Katsis, exploring the life and work of Mandelshtam, discovered a hidden (but only for the unfamiliar with Judaism) Jewish / Judaic layer in many works of the poet.He suggested that the traditional reading of many texts Mandelshtam, making his version, based on knowledge of the Bible and Jewish tradition, which more fully reveals the latent content and meaning of a poem or a prosaic text.
