The task of the series - to lift the treasury of religious thought for the readers who do not know the "classical" languages - Hebrew and Aramaic. The project provides for the production of 50 volumes published by "Lehaim", which includes three groups of texts: liturgical, primary sources with commentary and laws of Judaism. The vast majority of these texts has never been published in Russian.

The last book includes "Kinot" and "Lamentations" - verse translation elegies and laments, read the post of the Ninth of Av, and a long article explaining the significance of this day.

The new book, published in the liturgical part of the series, in addition to the traditional part, which included prayers, blessings, and the narrative of the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt, accompanied by a great "guide" for the Passover, written by Israeli journalist, an immigrant from the Soviet Union by David Schechter. David Schechter offers secular reader acquainted with religious materials in a clear and accessible way, adding to the traditional narrative a lot of interesting stories, jokes and examples from life.

Representation of religious books in secular reader familiar categories is reflected in the abundance of examples of jokes and simulated everyday experience ("matzah - is a big overgrown unleavened cracker").

Haggadah is actually two hundred pages. She is bilingual, and besides - contains a transliteration of the major blessings, a detailed guide for the Seder, comments on the variations of the ritual and the history of its formation. Colorful illustrations and reproductions of old engravings depicting how to sit, how to hold a glass, etc., are intended to help the reader better understand the ritual of the holiday.
