In this edition of the first book of Samuel is divided into three parts. The first of them includes eight chapters devoted to the era of the judges. In the second twelve chapters, telling the election of Saul and the period of his reign, which ends escape from the royal house of David. The third eleven chapters describing the wanderings of David, the last months of Shaul and his death in a battle with plishtim.
