The intention of this book - to give the modern Russian-speaking readers the basics of serious teaching of Hasidism.

Its uniqueness lies in the first in Russian attempt to give a systematic, authoritative and detailed exposition of Chassidic teachings, provide an opportunity to look at the fundamental problems of the universe through the prism of images and concepts of Hasidism.

The book was based on the lectures of Rabbi Yoel Kahn - one of the greatest scholars of Hasidic teachings in our generation.

He was among the closest associates of the Lubavitcher Rebbe for many years participated in the preparation of his work for publication, but they have the author of a number of popular books.
