Leonid Slovin, the author more than twenty detective products and the winner of many literary awards, was born in 1930 in Moscow. After the termination{ending} of the Moscow legal institute many years worked in law enforcement bodies: was the lawyer in the regional center of the Kostroma area, the chief of a criminal investigation department in Kostroma, the employee of capital transport militia. Life experience has laid down in a basis of his detective stories - « the Transport variant », « Tennis balls for professionals », « Armor waistcoats », « Additional there arrives on the second way », « the Crazy life on the dark side of the Moon » (in the co-authorship with George Viner). On two last the same television serials are created.
