The story tells about the tragic events of 30-ies, is the first part of the trilogy "Time loss - a time of hope." Despite the high rating given to it in due time, many prominent writers, including A. Twardowski, - she could not have been published for 22 years - the way it was an inexorable political censorship. Only in the late 80-ies a shortened version the story was published in the journal.
