One of the ten sayings of God, spoken to them during the Sinai revelation, is the commandment of honoring parents. This is the fifth of the ten commandments of the Creator, carved on the tablets of the Covenant. The greatness and importance of this commandment is written in the Talmud, Midrash, Zohar, and other sources of Jewish wisdom, she devoted many volumes. Suffice it to mention the fact that the Torah equates reverence and awe of the parents to the worship of Gd and awe before Him. This edition, like previous work is a summary of the lessons read in the walls of the yeshiva of Toldos Yeshurun based p. Abraham Cohen. Proceedings of the lessons are based on a set of decisions of Jewish law Shulchan Aruch and its commentators and the greatest authorities of our Torah. Many of the issues raised in the brochure have a new light and filling by hot debates and discussions the participants learned.
