In May 1945 ended the Second World War. The Nazis have been defeated and the Jewish people have been saved from destruction. That victory gave a boost for the establishment of the State of Israel. Many Jews joined the struggle against the Nazis. Above all, the fighters in the Red Army contributed tremendously to the victory, and the rescuing of the entire population. Their biographies are a huge part of history. In this book the story of some 754 fighters, Jews who lived and still live in the Holy City of Jerusalem.
